The coin is at the very top of the screen down a ways near the flag. Pilot it quickly upwards and to the right. Once you pass the midway flag of the level, head right a few screens until you see a giant Piranha plant. Walk off the ledge above it and hold LEFT to slide down and fall into the area with the coin. Use the light brick (swallow it or pick it up) to seek out the coin at the top of this subterranean area. The second coin can be attained in a similar fashion. Jump off screen into the secret area below. A trail of coins should appear leading down. Sprint to the right, leap up then run all the way over to. Hit the P-Switch, which will turn the blocks into coins. Hop down to that plant's location and drop down to the lowest block. However, by obtaining the three star coins for each level (and finishing the level afterwards), you can access some secret levels: World 9. Enter the yellow pipe a little to the right of the first Star Coin. Just before the midway flag is a fire-spitting Piranha Plant.Įat this plant, and shoot the fireball you'll get from the fiery Piranha Plant at the Plant to your left, which is nestled down a bit amongst some blocks (you can also spit an enemy at this plant to kill it). The second coin of this level is extremely well hidden. Use Yoshi to eat Lakitu and swipe his cloud. Walkthrough The level starts with Mario standing next to a pair of barrels.
